Responsibilities

Carenet Healthcare Services is seeking RNs (Registered Nurses) to join our team of talented professionals who provide telehealth and virtual care clinical triage assessments, health education and other services to diverse populations of patients and health plan members.

 A typical week in the life of this position:
Work independently to make clinical decisions on routine patient care matters (at your license level)
Provide patient-focused care and guidance on the phone or online, including accurately assessing needs, delivering or directing to the appropriate level of care, identifying potential health problems and influencing people to make better health decisions
Communicate with our organization’s clients as needed and other team members, verbally and digitally
Monitor your own performance with dashboard metrics and look for ways to improve
Participate in coaching sessions to improve performance
Document all patient/member interactions via management software

Qualifications

What's required:

  2. Must complete the assessment within 24-48 hours before the exam link expires. Assessment link will be available as soon as you have successfully complete your application. 
  • A min of five (3) years as a Registered Nurse with recent direct patient care experience in a high acuity level i.e. ICU, CC, ER, med-surg, telemetry, and or Tele - Health, Telephonic Triage.
  • Minimum of an associate's degree from a two-year technical college or technical school, or diploma nursing program.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Current, unrestricted, RN licensure in a compact state which is your state of residence. Licensure in other States as required by law or client contract.
    Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company software, guidelines, health references, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions to a client’s level.
    Reasoning Ability and Relationship building:
    a) Ability to solve problems using solid judgment skills.
    b) Senior sensitivity skills
    Communications Skills:
    a) Effectively interacts with Team Members and physicians, in both oral and written communications.
    b) Strong listening skills and ability to articulate empathy. Ability to educate callers and ability to ask open-ended questions and uncover information. Ability to mediate or negotiate compromises without alienating any party.
    c) Ability to calm anxious callers and defuse angry or hostile callers. Ability to adapt communication style to persons representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. Assertive, self-confident, and resilient. Utilizes active listening skills in order to receive detailed information in an accurate manner.
    d) Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, clients and other team members, peers and supervision, verbally and in writing.
    Work Behaviors: Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
    Technical Skills: PC and keyboarding skills required. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF, Internet Searches) with the ability to use multiple programs simultaneously. Ability to handle multiple line phone systems.
