Team Leadership: Mentor and develop your payroll team, setting clear performance goals and resolving payroll inquiries and disputes effectively.
401(k) and Workers' Compensation Oversight: Ensure accurate contributions and compliance for 401(k) plans and manage Workers' Compensation processes, coordinating with insurance providers as needed.
Audit Management: Lead payroll-related audits, preparing documentation and addressing auditor queries to maintain compliance with financial standards.
System Management: Optimize payroll systems in collaboration with IT, implementing improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to streamline payroll processes and facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires.
Expat Payroll Management: Handle payroll for expatriates, ensuring accurate gross-up calculations and understanding tax implications.
