Overview

We are adding an Infrastructure Analyst to our IT team!

Our Infrastructure Analyst will work on provisioning, configuring and maintaining systems hardware, software, and infrastructure. He must be innovative in creating technical solutions ( design and deployment) while supporting operations teams. 

 

Work Schedule: Shifting schedule, majority of dayshift to support the US night operations

Work set up: Hybrid ( visiting Makati office when needed, twice a month)

Responsibilities

1. Reporting and Compliance:

  • Create reports that fulfill the needs of both internal management and external regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with established reporting standards and guidelines.
  •  

    Provide weekly status updates, outlining completed tasks, upcoming deliverables, potential risks, and overall progress, in accordance with company reporting guidelines.

2. Systems Design, Configuration, and Implementation:

  • Design, configure, test, and implement company interfaces, ensuring they align with operational needs and comply with internal protocols.
  • Collaborate and assist in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions 
  • Install, rebuild, and configure servers and related hardware  
  • Oversee virtual desktop environments, and manage network switches, routers, firewalls, and patch management life cycles in line with IT protocols.
  • Perform ongoing tuning, upgrades, and optimization of resources, configuring hardware and partitioning as needed for project objectives.
  • Participate in projects transitioning from development to production, executing key operational tasks within the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions, while adhering to project timelines and standards.

3. Security and Data Integrity:

  • Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability across enterprise systems by applying established security standards and complying with regulatory requirements.

4. System Maintenance and Support:

  • Maintain and support Windows systems and subsystems critical to Carenet's infrastructure, including Active Directory and associated applications, in line with operational standards.
  • Monitor and optimize server performance, following industry best practices to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to prevent escalation, while documenting solutions and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Address user concerns and application issues promptly, prioritizing customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution

5. Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Test and debug systems and applications, analyze issues using sample data, and modify or redesign programs to fix failures.
  • After corrections, assess system performance to ensure proper functionality and prevent unintended consequences, adhering to troubleshooting protocols.

6. Vendor and Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, team members, and clients to foster collaboration and effective solutions.
  • Participate in requirement and implementation meetings with internal and external clients to fully understand business requirements and provide technical input.

7. Infrastructure Monitoring and Management:

  • Manage the data center’s environmental monitoring equipment, ensuring all systems function efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience, ideally in 24/7 call center technologies, remote workforce, web application services, and network services.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Security software programs and implementation.
    • Active Directory best practices for enterprise infrastructure.
    • Corporate Windows, Patch management, Log management, and Virtual Server standards.
    • Current network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Hardware and Tools:

    • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware.
    • Familiarity with technical tools, components, and peripherals.
  • Documentation and Research:

    • Ability to read technical manuals and research hardware products/issues.
  • Software Skills:

    • Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of technology platforms like Crystal Reports, Microsoft server systems, .NET, TCP/IP, VPNs, WAN architectures.
