Overview

We are looking for a seasoned leader experienced in enterprise applications. If you are a passionate Software Development Manager who thrives in delivering applications and a high-performing team of developers, this role is for you! 

 

 

Eligibility: Must be Filipino Citizen, NCR - based or from nearby provinces

Work Set up: Hybrid ( 90 percent remote, must be amenable to visit Makati office)

Schedule: 9pm - 6am PHT as core business hours (24/7 on call when needed)

Responsibilities

  • Software Development Oversight: Manage the full software development lifecycle—design, development, testing, and deployment—ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams—product management, operations, PMO, DevOps, and QA—to deliver IT solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Quality Assurance & Process Improvement: Establish and oversee quality control processes to ensure all software is rigorously tested and meets the highest standards of excellence.
  • Technical Guidance & Architecture: Offer hands-on technical direction, ensuring that software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and integrates cutting-edge technology.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, optimizing resource allocation and encouraging continuous professional development.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage team resources to meet project demands and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Deliver progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering clear updates on development activities, team performance, and project status.
  • On-Call Support: Offer on-call support for urgent project issues and critical support needs as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in agile development and software development methodologies, with hands-on experience in technologies such as .Net, React, C#, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven leadership skills to lead and mentor a team of software developers, ensuring high performance and continuous growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in addressing software development issues.
  • Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities when needed to address project-related issues. (24/7 on call with majority of the schedule on PH night shift)
