Position Summary

The Payroll Onboarding Clerk facilitates seamless onboarding processes for new employees, encompassing both US and Philippines hires. The Payroll Onboarding Clerk will be responsible for reviewing information sent from the recruiting team to ensure accuracy and completeness in various aspects of employee profiles. The successful candidate will meticulously verify details such as addresses, work locations, pay rates, tax information, direct deposit details, projects, and job functions to ensure they align with company policies and regulations across all regions where Carenet employs team members.

Responsibilities

  • Review information provided by the recruiting team to ensure accuracy and completeness in employee profiles.
  • Verify and, if necessary, manually enter rehire and adjust service dates.
  • Ensure that profiles are updated to active status in the security role within the HRIS system.
  • Update personal email addresses to company email addresses and set up Single Sign-On (SSO) on the first day of employment.
  • Review and process Jira tickets promptly, addressing any onboarding-related issues.
  • Monitor and review the "Process Hires" email to identify and rectify errors in the onboarding process.
  • Communicate any discrepancies or issues with incorrect information sent to the HRIS system to the Talent Team for resolution.
  • Setup Punch system to ensure Shift Number, Pay Policy, Holiday Rule, Pay Type, Pay Category, Probation Date, Employee access group, and Supervisor are set accordingly.
  • Ensure employees are assigned to the correct PTO (Paid Time Off) policy based on their employment terms
  • Perform other duties as described or assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and onboarding processes is a plus.
  • Prior experience in payroll or HR administration preferred.
