Position Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will conduct high-level analyses of revenue, cost of sales, client margins, and SG&A expenses, leveraging your expertise to guide critical decision-making for our organization. Your analytical skills will support senior management in understanding historical trends, current operations, and future projections, enabling CareNet Health to achieve its financial goals.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Utilize your strong accounting knowledge to analyze historical and current financial operations, identifying trends and forecasting future revenues and expenditures.

  • Projection Model Management: Develop a deep familiarity with our projection model, ensuring accurate and timely updates on key metrics such as revenue, sales, and labor by client.

  • Financial Modeling: Create comprehensive financial models and prepare projections, conducting research and analysis to support all aspects of finance and operations.

  • Strategic Meetings: Collaborate with the VP of Finance to develop project plans and communicate status updates, ensuring alignment on financial objectives.

  • Reconciliation and Recommendations: Reconcile financial discrepancies, analyze account information, and recommend actionable financial strategies based on your findings.

  • Budgeting Support: Assist in the budgeting process through information gathering, detailed analysis, and reporting, working with various systems to provide accurate data.

  • Business Intelligence Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on Business Intelligence (BI) tools, designing and maintaining user reports that provide valuable insights to departments across the organization.

  • Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold confidentiality in all aspects related to internal and external customers, team members, and management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years in progressive financial roles.

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Strong, proven Excel skills for complex data analysis and financial modeling.

  • Accounting Proficiency: Solid understanding of general ledger (GL) operations, financial statements, and reconciliations.

  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across teams.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to solve complex financial problems.

  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and familiarity with financial software.
