Overview

Carenet Health is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the needs of our clients and internal teams, and translating these needs into clear, actionable requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. This individual must be a confident communicator who can effectively negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, both in-person and remotely.

 

As a Business Analyst at Carenet Health, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to Carenet’s Guiding Principles, which include: Put People First, Work with an Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Deliver Market-Leading Performance. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that drive improved business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

A. Technical Capacity:

  • Elicit, capture, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, and other supporting documentation.
  • Use process-flow diagrams to document existing and future-state processes, and perform detailed gap analyses to identify areas of improvement.
  • Balance business needs with technical feasibility, ensuring solutions are sustainable and achievable.
  • Facilitate and maintain agreements across all stages of the design, development, and deployment lifecycle.
  • Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Functionality Testing to ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

B. Problem Solving & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of data, systems, integration points, and use case scenarios to identify potential risks, gaps, or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Manager and technical teams to translate customer needs into realistic, deliverable features and improvements.
  • Partner with the Solution Development team to collect metrics, analyze data, and continually improve processes owned by the team.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Solution Manager and escalate risks and issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

C. Communication:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Solution Development team and clearly communicate requirements and priorities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understand customer priorities across multiple projects and collaborate with the Solution Manager to determine the most effective approach for delivering solutions.
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication.

D. Collaboration with Carenet Team:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless collaboration across functions.
  • Coordinate and assist with work across multiple teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Support the development of cross-functional team strategies that align with Carenet’s objectives and business goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team efforts and operational success.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a Business Analyst role or similar capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of Solution Development, IT processes, tools, techniques, and Production/Infrastructure Operations.
  • Experience in call center technologies, reporting, remote workforce management, and database structures is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Participation in Agile methodologies, including Scrum standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Language Ability:

  • Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical manuals, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to create reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Skilled at facilitating meetings and capturing feedback through various software tools.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Clear understanding of database structures, with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them to business and technical challenges.
  • Capable of translating technical concepts into simple, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and strong experience with database structures.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of technology platforms, tools, and programming languages is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is based in a business office environment with moderate noise levels. It requires the ability to work at a computer and participate in both in-person and virtual meetings.
