Overview

Our IT Product Development Team is expanding in the Philippines! We're seeking an Application Development Lead to join our growing team! This role will actively contribute to the development of new applications, enhancing and extending Carenet Healthcare's strategic enterprise systems using Microsoft technologies. With a focus on Cloud technologies, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of full stack development to leading team contributions and resolving code discrepancies.  

 

You'll spearhead application development efforts for significant projects, guiding junior developers, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their work. This position offers a hybrid work setup, primarily remote with occasional visits to our Makati office. Applicants must be Filipino citizens residing in Manila or nearby provinces who can travel to Makati occasionally. 

 

Work Schedule: 8pm - 5am PH time (with occasional late morning shifts due to US product release schedules)

 

Work Setup: Hybrid/Remote (90% remote, 10% on-site for visits to Makati office, Luzon-based)

 

Eligibility: Must be a Filipino citizen

Responsibilities

  • Lead entire projects or teams of Developers in application program development and support, emphasizing cloud technologies and Microsoft stack.
  • Create, develop, and assess new software through design, testing, and implementation phases, ensuring adherence to cloud best practices.
  • Investigate, assess, suggest, and implement technical solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Develop feasible schedules for development and testing aligned with departmental goals, emphasizing cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with peers to integrate changes seamlessly into existing systems, emphasizing cloud migration strategies.
  • Conduct peer reviews, offering constructive feedback on code, and ensuring adherence to company standards with a focus on Microsoft technologies and cloud practices.
  • Handle support tickets assigned by the Application Delivery Supervisor, with an emphasis on correcting code and optimizing cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience with strong demonstration of knowledge in data processing, programming language and techniques, operating systems, and test and data management.
  • 10 years or more of .NET experience in system design and development in n-tier and client/server environments
  • At least 5 years of lead technical developer experience
  • Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and strong background with Agile methodology.
  • Advanced relational database design experience
  • Demonstrates familiarity and some working knowledge of each of the following:
    • .NET Core 5+, Entity Framework
    • React JS and/or Angular JS
    • C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET 3.5/4 Framework
    • MS SQL Server 2012/2015 and/or MySQL technology and T/SQL
    • Windows Communication Framework (WCF) and REST APIs
    • MS Visual Studio 2017/2019 and Azure Git/GitHub
    • Solid experience with Object Oriented Principles
    • Developed applications using design patterns such as MVVM or MVC or Repository pattern
    • Cloud Technologies in Azure and AWS
    • Strong working knowledge of CI/CD processes
    • Knowledge of Microservice development methodology
    • Visual Basic 6, ASPJavaScript, and XML/XSLT
    • SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services
    • Ruby on Rails
    • Automated unit testing tools such as Microsoft Test, XUnit, Nunit or others
