Overview

The Billing System Analyst at Carenet Health is responsible for managing and maintaining customer pricing within the Carenet billing system. This role ensures the accuracy of pricing data, addresses invoicing discrepancies, and maintains documentation related to pricing and billing procedures. The Analyst will collaborate with internal teams to monitor pricing changes, resolve data flow issues, and assist in the transition to new billing and ERP systems.

  1. Create and maintain pricing formulas in the billing system based on contract terms and Salesforce data.
  2. Investigate and resolve pricing-related invoicing discrepancies by analyzing raw data and billing records.
  3. Work closely with IT to address data flow issues between raw data sources, the billing system, and the ERP system.
  4. Document pricing structures for customers to identify and address anomalies.
  5. Develop and maintain detailed billing procedures and workflow documentation.
  6. Support the preparation and transition to a new ERP system, ensuring pricing accuracy.
  7. Assist in establishing and optimizing workflows within new systems to improve billing efficiency.
  8. Collaborate with Client Services, IT, and Sales to facilitate timely resolution of pricing and billing issues.
  9. Independently identify, analyze, and escalate pricing or billing issues as appropriate.
  10. Demonstrate persistence and attention to detail in resolving invoicing discrepancies.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of four years of relevant experience in pricing, billing, or financial analysis.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula writing and data manipulation.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
  5. Experience working with multiple data tables and integrating information from various sources.
  6. Proficiency in Power BI report writing.
  7. Basic SQL query writing experience is strongly preferred.
  8. Experience with Salesforce and Ironclad is a plus.
  9. Highly organized with the ability to research, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
  10. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.
  12. Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  13. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  14. Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.

Work Environment

Hybrid role – Onsite Monday through Thursday, remote on Friday.

Working Conditions

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, and fax machines. The Team Member will be exposed to typical office noises and interruptions such as printers, phones, and callers. The physical demand is largely sedentary, requiring the Team Member to remain stationary for most of the day, with occasional movement within the office. Frequent use of manual dexterity is required for tasks involving repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers.
