Carenet Health is seeking a strategic, customer-focused Director of Healthcare Services Account Strategy & Growth to lead client retention and organic growth across a defined portfolio of healthcare partners. This high-impact, quota-carrying role will focus on deepening client relationships, driving renewals, and uncovering expansion opportunities for existing services.
This position is ideal for a seasoned healthcare leader with proven success in managing strategic accounts, strong business acumen, and the ability to engage with C-suite stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients realize maximum value from Carenet’s solutions and services.
Manage a defined portfolio of healthcare clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and strategic growth.
Develop tailored growth and retention plans aligned with client goals and Carenet’s value proposition.
Lead renewal strategies and proactively identify risks to client satisfaction or renewal.
Act as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders, identifying solutions to optimize care and operations.
Leverage data and performance metrics to inform decisions and identify expansion opportunities.
Partner with internal teams (Sales, Product, Operations, and Delivery) to align on client strategies and resolve challenges.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with Sales to drive execution.
Maintain deep knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and client market dynamics.
Represent Carenet at client meetings and industry events to strengthen relationships and brand presence.
Provide guidance and support to Account Managers on key strategies for account success.
15+ years of experience in healthcare services, ideally within health systems or provider organizations.
Demonstrated success in strategic account management with measurable retention and growth achievements.
Quota-carrying experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, and healthcare business planning.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in using data and analytics to drive strategic decisions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience in healthcare technology, care management, telehealth, or patient engagement services is a strong plus.
This role may be performed remotely, in-office, or as a hybrid, based on business needs. The work is largely sedentary, involving extended screen time and frequent use of digital communication tools. Minimal physical exertion is required.
