As a Sales Engineer at Carenet Health, you will be a critical driver of our business growth, bridging the gap between complex telehealth technology and client needs. This role combines deep technical acumen with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions that empower our clients across the healthcare spectrum—Payor, Provider, Health Services, and Pharmacy. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Client Engagement, Product, and IT teams to deliver exceptional client experiences while showcasing the innovative capabilities of Carenet Health’s digital healthcare solutions.
Serve as the primary technical resource for the Sales team, deeply understanding Carenet Health’s offerings and aligning them with industry trends and client needs.
Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations and presentations that effectively highlight the unique value of our telehealth solutions.
Act as a trusted consultant by identifying client pain points, gathering technical requirements, and proposing tailored solutions that align with business objectives.
Design and lead proof-of-concept (POC) engagements to validate solution fit and feasibility in real-world client scenarios.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Engagement, Product Development, and IT to ensure seamless execution and alignment throughout the sales lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, fostering trust and long-term strategic partnerships.
Provide continuous feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights, supporting solution enhancements and roadmap prioritization.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration guidelines, solution architecture, best practices, and an 18-month persistent solution roadmap.
Support the development of sales collateral and customer-facing materials in collaboration with marketing, adapting content to reflect an evolving healthcare ecosystem.
Provide technical support for enterprise prospecting tools, including maintenance and updates of Carenet’s Spark Page.
Participate in industry events and client meetings (anticipated travel of 20–25%).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant role. Preference for candidates with healthcare and digital customer experience (CX) backgrounds.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to simplify complex healthcare technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when engaging C-suite and decision-makers.
Experience with journey mapping, implementation planning, and managing client expectations.
Effective at managing multiple projects and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Client-first mentality with a knack for uncovering and addressing root problems.
Willingness to adapt quickly, meet dynamic deadlines, and anticipate barriers to success with solution-oriented thinking.
This role includes a base salary plus a Sales Incentive Plan (commission-based) tied to defined performance metrics.
Monthly performance reviews with leadership to track progress toward goals.
Experience with telehealth platforms, healthcare IT, or enterprise health services is highly desirable.
Environment: This position may be performed in an office, hybrid, or remote setting. You will use standard office technology such as computers, monitors, and headsets. Regular digital communications via Microsoft Teams, email, and virtual meetings are expected.
Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary role requiring long periods of screen time, repetitive hand movements (typing, mouse use), and focused visual attention. Minimal physical exertion is involved. Reasonable accommodations may be made per ADA guidelines.
