The e-Learning / Curriculum Developer is responsible for designing, creating, and improving training materials to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees within the Carenet Health organization. The goal is to align the curriculum to our guiding principles and to meet internal and external client objectives, improve employee capabilities, and ultimately contribute to the company's success.

 

The e-Learning / Curriculum Developer will collaborate with subject matter experts in Operations, Trainers, and other learning experts to create effective and engaging curricula that is designed to be learner-led, scenario-based with simulated activities that mirror their production environment

Responsibilities

  • Design curriculum outlines and timelines based on identified training needs.

  • Focus on hands-on, learner-led activities in a simulated work environment, minimizing instructor-led components.

  • Create engaging training materials using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and Moodle for videos, simulations, e-learning modules, and facilitator guides.

  • Research, gather, and organize content using job aids, call recordings, and accurate screenshots.

  • Build, format, and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with learning objectives.

  • Regularly update training materials to reflect new policies, processes, or industry standards.

  • Incorporate interactive elements to maintain learner engagement.

  • Facilitate and support training sessions for new launches, curriculum updates, and process changes.

  • Develop assessments and use learner/trainer feedback to continuously improve curriculum effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in corporate curriculum development and training is required
  • Training and content development experience in a call center environment is preferred
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and curriculum development methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoys content curation on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or other Social Media platforms is highly recommended.
  • Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia), video editing tools, and LMS platforms.
  • Creativity and innovation in curriculum design; thrives on staying away from traditional e-learning and instructor-led content.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in content creation and review.
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.

Working Conditions

Working conditions: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, and fax machines. Team Member will be typically exposed to office noises and interruptions such as printers, phones, and callers.

 

Physical Demand: This is a largely sedentary position which requires Team Member to remain stationary for the majority of the work day. The Team Member will need to occasionally move about inside an office setting to access office machinery. The Team Member will constantly use good manual dexterity with repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers.
