Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary executive to lead our new Care Management Business Unit. As the Executive General Manager, you will own the strategic direction and operational execution of our care management initiatives. Your remit will include packaging value-based care (VBC) offerings, driving market innovation, and establishing robust risk-based pricing models, all designed to empower our clients in an era of escalating medical costs.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Care Management BU, ensuring alignment with Carenet Health’s mission and market needs.
    • Shape innovative solutions in care outcomes improvement, population health management, disease management, risk-stratification support, care planning, care coordination, and chronic care management.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, integrating a holistic approach to reduce the 85% portion of escalating medical costs.
    • Evaluate and implement risk-based pricing models and drive initiatives that optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Market Engagement & Innovation
    • Lead client discussions and gather market feedback to continuously innovate current products and value propositions.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine offerings and shape the go-to-market strategy.
    • Drive both Phase I launch activities (targeting mid-July start) and Phase II initiatives, including potential M&A targets and strategic partnerships.
  • Team & Partnership Development
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to executing cutting-edge care management solutions.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement in alignment with evolving market trends and client needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven Leadership Experience
    • Demonstrated executive leadership within healthcare, care management, or a related field.
    • A successful track record of building, scaling, and managing business units with a focus on delivering measurable cost reductions.
  • Strategic & Analytical Acumen
    • Expertise in developing and executing risk-based pricing models and evaluating market opportunities, including M&A and innovative telehealth solutions.
    • Superior analytical capabilities to drive data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven success in collaborating with executive leadership and managing complex, multifaceted projects.
  • Educational Background
    • An advanced degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Innovative Mindset
  • Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market trends to provide a competitive edge.
