This Scrum Master will support agile teams in their ongoing quest for high performance, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. This position requires a proven track record of Agile leadership, an ability to remove roadblocks, and strong coordination and communication skills to guide teams through project cycles effectively.
The role will focus on the following:
Work schedule: Night Shift, 9PM - 6AM PH time, Monday to Friday
Work Set up: Hybrid ( with occasional visits to Makati once or twice a month; must be amenable to report to Makati when needed)
Eligibility: Filipino Citizen | must be based in Manila or nearby provinces
Facilitate and lead Sprint Planning sessions to align on priorities and goals.
Conduct daily Scrum meetings to maintain team alignment and momentum.
Guide Sprint Retrospectives to uncover improvements and optimize team performance.
Collaborate with Product Owners to manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog.
Assist in user story creation, decomposition, and accurate estimation of work items.
Monitor sprint performance through key metrics such as velocity, sprint goals, and defects.
Leverage tools like burndown charts to track progress and ensure transparency.
Partner with leadership, peers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Communicate updates and changes effectively across appropriate channels.
Support timely and informed decision-making through transparent communication.
Proactively escalate and address risks or blockers to maintain project timelines.
Ensure prompt resolution of critical issues impacting delivery.
Actively identify and remove team impediments to maintain flow and efficiency.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and Agile best practices.
Recommend changes to existing policies and procedures to enhance project delivery.
Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and methodologies.
Provide regular updates and reports on team performance and project health.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
