The IT Project Manager plays a critical role in that mission by managing Information Technology projects from initial scope definition through successful implementation. This role partners closely with the Scrum Master, IT teams, and Carenet business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will be an organized, forward-thinking leader with a passion for healthcare technology, a strong command of Agile practices, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle: scope definition, financial estimation, requirements gathering, planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.

  • Partner with Carenet Health business sponsors, IT teams, and the Scrum Master to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.

  • Support Agile methodologies by coordinating sprints, facilitating stand-ups, and ensuring adherence to Scrum best practices.

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

  • Proactively identify risks, resource gaps, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Monitor progress and performance metrics with the Scrum Master to ensure project outcomes meet agreed-upon success criteria.

  • Communicate status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.

  • Facilitate productive project meetings, documenting key decisions and action items.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance Carenet Health’s project delivery capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with Carenet Health policies, procedures, and project management best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or technology, with at least 2 years in IT project management.

  • Proficiency with project management software such as ServiceNow®, Smartsheet®, Azure DevOps®, Jira, or MS Project.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practical Scrum experience.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification.

  • Experience leading highly technical and analytical teams.

  • Strong knowledge of the software industry and product lifecycle management.

  • Proven experience producing high-quality requirements and design deliverables.

  • Passion for delivering excellent customer and patient experiences.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Environment:

  • Standard office setting with typical equipment including computers, headsets, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

  • Routine exposure to office noise and interruptions.

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting.

  • Occasional movement within the office to access files, equipment, or attend meetings.

  • Regular use of hands, wrists, and fingers for typing and operating office equipment.
