Overview

We need more Tech App Developers to support our growing team! 

 

Our Tech App Developers will work with other Carenet development resources and key vendors to design and develop new applications that strengthen and expand the company’s strategic enterprise systems. This role involves hands-on application development, managing small to medium-sized projects, and providing guidance and support to fellow developers when necessary. 

 

Work Schedule: 9pm - 6am PH time( following US Central time business hours)

Work Set up: Hybrid( with occasional visits to our Makati office once a month)

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and test application programs, automated processes, and other computer systems. May manage small to medium projects in this capacity.
  2. Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions.
  3. Prepare realistic development and testing schedules consistent with established department standards and priorities.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful implementation of changes to existing systems.
  5. Address support tickets from Lead Developer, Supervisor, Manager, or Director, meeting service level agreements.
  6. Provide work effort estimates for development and testing efforts as part of project planning activities.
  7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science
  • At least 5 years' experience in System Design and Development  (Microsoft .net environment)
  • Demonstrates familiarity and working knowledge of:
    • .NET Core 3.1
    • React JS and/or Angular JS
    • C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET 3.5/4 Framework
    • MS SQL Server 2012/2016/2019 (T-SQL) and/or MySQL
    • Windows Communication Framework (WCF) and REST APIs
    • MS Visual Studio 2017/2019 and Azure Git/GitHub
    • Object-Oriented Principles
    • Application development using design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Repository pattern
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
    • Advanced relational database design 
  • Desired skills include:
    • Automated unit testing tools such as Microsoft Test, XUnit, or NUnit
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies in Azure or AWS
    • Knowledge of CI/CD processes
    • Knowledge of Microservice development methodology
    • Experience with Visual Basic 6, ASP, JavaScript, and XML/XSLT
    • SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services
