Overview

ELIGIBILITY: FILIPINO CITIZEN

SCHEDULE: 9PM - 6AM, M-F

OFFICE LOCATION: CIRCUIT MAKATI

SET UP: REMOTE (w/ possibility of reporting on-site once a month)

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will conduct high-level analyses of revenue, cost of sales, client margins, SG&A expenses and a variety of system data for historical trends, present operations and future projections. They will work with senior level management to provide reporting to help make critical decisions about revenue/clients and expense management. You must be highly detail-oriented and capable of analyzing data with creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze statistics and utilize principles of accounting to analyze past and present operations as well as future revenues and expenditures.
  • Develop familiarity with our projection model. Update metrics needed for accurate and timely projections which may include revenue, sales and labor by client and a host of detailed analyses.
  • Create financial models, prepare projections and perform research and analysis on all aspects of finance and operations. 
  • Meet with the VP of Finance to develop project plans and communicate status. 
  • Update projection model as needed to accurately project new/revised data and communicate changes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting with ability to interpret business transactions and journalize properly. 
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Recommend financial action based on accounting options.
  • Assist with budgeting processes which may include information gathering, analysis and reporting from a variety of systems
  • Using on-line training as well as on the job training, become a subject matter expert on Business Intelligence (BI) in Ultimate Software. 
  • Design and maintain user reports in BI that help analyze and provide data to other departments as well as Finance. 
  • Use internal software and metrics to provide departmental budget and actual data and related analyses.
  • Other reporting as needed.
  • May develop, install, and maintain accounting systems that provide control of GL, reporting, receivables, and expenditures.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Administrative tasks to support all above functions.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects related to internal and external customers, team members and management. 
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Educations/Experience:

  1. Strong, proven excel skills to create complex analyses
  2. Strong accounting skills related to the GL/Financial statements and reconciliations.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience of at least 4 years of progressive duties.

Communication & Leadership Skills:  

  1. Ability to seek out, gather and analyze data from all organizational perspectives.  
  2. Ability to effectively read and write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and presentations. 
  3. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.   
  4. Teambuilding and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and persuade others. 

Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Conflict Resolution Skills:   

  1. Good quantitative and qualitative skill; ability to solve practical problems  
  2. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  3. Ability to handle and resolve issues within a team, department and client process. 

Mathematical/Analytical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

 

Computer Skills:  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Expert Level Excel
