We’re looking for a technically strong and client-focused IT Technical Account Manager (Engagement Lead) who serves as the primary point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical execution, proactively addressing issues, guiding solutions, and ensuring a seamless client experience. You will lead technical discussions, provide delivery oversight, and validate solutions across the full SDLC while working closely with Dev, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to drive timely, scalable, and compliant outcomes. If you have solid API Integration experience and enjoy a client-facing role, this role might be for you.
The TAM Lead operates as a hands-on technical lead and cross-functional liaison, not a people manager, guiding design and delivery efforts across multiple workstreams while maintaining alignment with the client’s roadmap and Carenet’s engineering standards.
Client Partnership & Communication: Partners with technical teams to align business needs with execution, while effectively communicating technical impacts, dependencies, and timelines to diverse stakeholders. Contributes to Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews by providing technical input for release approvals and production decisions.
Technical Delivery Leadership: Leads the end-to-end technical delivery lifecycle, owning deliverables through planning, development, testing, and release while coordinating closely with QA and Release Management. Provides technical guidance to team members and contributes to the development and enhancement of reusable frameworks and tools.
Agile Planning & Execution: Ensures adherence to hybrid Agile and SDLC processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and change control, while translating requirements into technical tasks and delivery milestones. Collaborates with project stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, and maintain predictable delivery outcomes.
Risk & Issue Management: Provide feasibility assessments, evaluate technical risks, and recommend solutions during planning and roadmap discussions. Collaborate with stakeholders to track milestones, manage risks, and support UAT readiness and defect resolution to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery.
Secure Coding & Compliance Awareness: Ensure all solutions and technical work comply with development standards, secure SDLC practices, and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, PHI/PII). Maintain audit readiness through clear, complete, and well-documented system and release artifacts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Director to align business expectations with technical execution while ensuring deliverables meet security, scalability, and performance standards. Coordinate dependencies across QA, Release Management, and other teams to enable smooth and timely delivery.
Note:
Completion of assessments may be required before an applicant can move forward. Completing assessments must be done independently. Any discovery of unauthorized completion, whether during or after the hiring process, will result in disqualification or termination.
