The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical initiatives. You will act as the bridge between client expectations and technical execution, ensuring that projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with Carenet’s high standards for security and compliance.
Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with the Technical Client Relationship Director (TCRD) to translate business expectations into actionable project plans and delivery schedules.
Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, effectively communicating technical impacts, dependencies, and timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Release Governance: Represent project interests at Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, ensuring all production gating requirements are met for release approvals.
Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirements intake and design through to deployment and post-release validation.
Resource & Effort Coordination: Consolidate effort estimates from technical leads to build comprehensive project schedules, sequence work, and manage cross-team dependencies (QA, Dev, DevOps).
Operational Excellence: Ensure project teams utilize Carenet’s reusable frameworks and development templates to maintain delivery velocity and consistency.
Methodology Governance: Enforce adherence to Carenet’s hybrid Agile/SDLC methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, and ensuring the completion of change control documentation.
Milestone Tracking: Translate functional requirements into technical tasks, sprint goals, and measurable milestones.
Delivery Predictability: Maintain real-time visibility into project health, tracking velocity and interdependencies to ensure predictable delivery.
Proactive Mitigation: Conduct feasibility assessments and technical risk evaluations during scoping to identify potential bottlenecks early.
Defect & UAT Management: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness and facilitate defect triage meetings to ensure production-quality releases.
Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of project-level blockers by coordinating across cross-functional teams.
Regulatory Guardrails: Ensure all project plans account for HIPAA, SOC 2, and secure SDLC practices, ensuring no "shortcuts" compromise data privacy (PHI/PII).
Audit Readiness: Audit project artifacts and documentation to ensure system specifications and release records are complete and compliant.
Team Orchestration: Coordinate efforts between Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure to ensure deliverables meet performance and scalability standards.
Dependency Mapping: Manage the "critical path" by identifying and resolving dependencies across internal technical teams and external vendors.
Post-Mortem Leadership: Lead post-deployment reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues to identify preventable gaps.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for workflow efficiency and process automation to shorten the delivery lifecycle.
Note:
Completion of assessments may be required before an applicant can move forward. Completing assessments must be done independently. Any discovery of unauthorized completion, whether during or after the hiring process, will result in disqualification or termination.
